Upcoming Course Materials Program Deadlines for Faculty

If you have not worked with us in the past, or have a brand-new course pack project, please contact us as soon as possible, no matter what stage you are with course content selection!

SUMMER 2024: To have your pack ready for sale by May 6, 2024, about one week before classes start on May 13, 2024, in our partnering bookstore (for print packs) or online (for electronic packs), contact us by:

April 12, 2024: MINOR REVISIONS and EXACT REPRINTS of course packs containing copyrighted material; or course packs with NO COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL
For NEW or EXTENSIVELY REVISED course packs containing copyrighted material, please contact us right away to start the process.

SUMMER SESSION II: Please contact us by June 1 to have your course pack ready when classes start on July 1, 2024.

Our Services

To assist our faculty partners, we:

  • Facilitate the production of print and electronic course packs
  • Distribute printed course packs for direct sale at the Spartan Bookstore in the MSU International Center (427 N. Shaw Lane) and the Student Book Store (421 East Grand River Avenue)
  • Evaluate copyright clearance needs, process permission requests, and pay permission fees, which are included in the course pack retail price
  • Electronically archive all course pack projects for easy reordering
  • Connect you to other beneficial Library resources
